AP TET 2026 Notification – Apply Online for Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET)

Government of Andhra Pradesh (Department of School Education, AP) has given a notification for Conducting Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET June 2026). Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) June - 2026 | Paper-1A (Classes I to V in regular Schools) - (Secondary Grade Teachers SGT): | The minimum required pass percentage of marks in the prescribed qualifications after 2011 for appearing APTET is as follows: i) Intermediate/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks, in case of SC/ST/ BC/PwBD candidates must acquire 45% marks and two (2) year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) (or) ii) Intermediate/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks, in case of SC/ST/ BC/PwBD candidates must acquire 45% marks and four (4) year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) (or) iii) Intermediate/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks, in case of SC/ST/ BC/PwBD candidates must acquire 45% marks and two (2) year Diploma in Education (Special Education) (or)
The minimum required pass percentage of marks in the prescribed qualifications before 2011 for appearing APTET is as follows: iv) Intermediate/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks, in case of SC/ST/ BC/PwBD candidates the minimum marks shall be 40% marks and two (2) year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) in accordance with the Regulations 2002 notified on 13.11.2002 and NCTE (Recognition norms and procedure), 2007 notified on 10-12-2007 issued from time to time in this regard. |
Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) June - 2026 | Paper-1B (Classes I to V in Special Schools): | Intermediate/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and Two (2) year D.Ed. Special Education in any of the category of disability. (or) ii) One (1) year Diploma in Special Education (DSE) in any of the category of disability. (or) iii) Diploma in Community Based Rehabilitation (DCBR) with six (6) months Certificate Course in Education of Children with Special Needs (CwSN). (or) iv) Post Graduate Diploma in Community Based Rehabilitation (PGDCBR) with six (6) months Certificate Course in Education of Children with Special Needs (CwSN). (or) v) Diploma in Multi Rehabilitation Worker (MRW) with six (6) months Certificate Course in Education of Children with Special Needs (CwSN). (or) vi) Junior Diploma in Teaching the Deaf. (Or) vii) Primary level Teacher Training Course in Visual Impairment. (or) viii) Diploma in Vocational Rehabilitation – Mental Retardation (DVR-MR) / Diploma in Vocational Training and Employment – Mental Retardation (DVTE-MR) with Six (6) months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs (CwSN). (or) ix) Diploma in Hearing Language and Speech (DHLS) with six (6) months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs (CwSN). (or) x) Intermediate/ Senior Secondary passed with any RCI recognized qualification of minimum one (1) year duration and six (6) months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs (CwSN). (or) Any other equivalent qualification approved by RCI. Note: (For point i to x) In case of SC/ST/BC/PwBD candidates must acquire 45% marks in the basic required qualification. |
Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) June - 2026 | TET Paper-2A (Classes VI-VIII): School Assistant (SA) | i) At least 50% marks, in case of SC/ST/ BC/PwBD candidates must acquire 45% marks in Graduation from a recognised University with Bachelor of Education (B.Ed). (or) ii) Four (4) year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed) with at least 50% marks, in case of SC/ST/ BC/PwBD candidates must acquire 45% marks from a recognised University. (or) iii) Four (4) year integrated B.A./B.Sc. or B.A.Ed / B.Sc.Ed. least 50% marks, in case of SC/ST/ BC/PwBD candidates must acquire 45% marks from a recognised University. (or) iv) Graduation with at least 50% marks, in case of SC/ST/ BC/PwBD candidates must acquire 45% marks and one (1) year B.Ed (Special Education) (or) v) Post-Graduation with a minimum of 55% marks, in case of SC/ST/ BC/PwBD candidates must acquire 50% marks or equivalent grade and three (3) year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed. (or)
The minimum required pass percentage of marks in the prescribed qualifications before 2011 for appearing TET is as follows: vi) Graduation from a recognised University with at least 45% marks, in case of SC/ST/ BC/Differently abled candidates the minimum marks shall be 40% and One (1) year Bachelor of Education in accordance with the NCTE recognition norms and procedure Regulations 2002 notified on 13.11.2002 and NCTE regulations 2007 notified on 10-12-2007 issued from time to time in this regard. Provided that minimum percentage of marks in graduation shall not be applicable to those incumbents who had already taken admission to the Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education or equivalent course prior to the 29th July, 2011. |
Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) June - 2026 | TET Paper-2B (Classes VI-VIII in Special Schools): School Assistant (SA) | At least 50% marks either in Graduation (or) in Post-Graduation And i) B.Ed.(Special Education) (or) ii) B.Ed.(General) with one (1) year Diploma in Special Education. (or) iii) B.Ed. (General) with two (2) years Diploma in Special Education. (or) iv) B.Ed.(General) with Post Graduate Professional Diploma in Special Education (PGPD). (or) v) B.Ed. Special Education and Post Graduate Professional Certificate in Special Education (PGPC). (or) vi) PG Diploma in Special Education (Mental Retardation) (or) vii) PG Diploma in Special Education (Multiple Disability: Physical and Neurological) (or) viii) PG Diploma in Special Education (Loco motor Impairment and Cerebral Palsy) (or) ix) Secondary level Teacher Training Course in Visual Impairment (or) x) Senior Diploma in Teaching the Deaf. (or) xi) BA.B.Ed. in Visual Impairment (or) xii) Any other equivalent qualification approved by RCI. Note:(Point i to xii) In case of SC/ST/ BC/PwBD candidates must acquire 45% marks in the basic required qualification. |
Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) June - 2026 | Language Teachers (Classes VI to VIII) - School Assistant (SA) | The minimum required pass percentage of marks in the prescribed qualifications after 2011 for appearing APTET is as follows: i) At least 50% marks in Graduation with Language concerned as one of the Optional Subjects (or) Bachelor of Oriental Language (or its equivalent) (or) Graduation in Literature (or) Post Graduation in Language concerned and B.Ed./ Language Pandit Training Certificate with Language concerned as one of the Methodologies, in respect of Language Teachers. Note: In case of SC/ST/ BC/PwBD candidates must acquire 45% marks in the basic required qualification. The minimum required pass percentage of marks in the prescribed qualifications before 2011 for appearing APTET is as follows: ii) Graduation / Post Graduation from a recognised University with at least 45% marks, in case of SC/ST/ BC/PwBD candidates the minimum marks shall be 40% and one (1) year Bachelor of Education in accordance with the NCTE recognition norms and procedure Regulations 2002 notified on 13.11.2002 and NCTE regulations 2007 notified on 10-12-2007 issued from time to time in this regard.
