Process/ Merit Calculation: |
The AP KGBV (Kasturba Gandhi
Balika Vidyalaya) teaching selection process is a merit-based evaluation
without any written examination. Candidates are shortlisted based on their
academic qualifications and service experience, followed by document verification.
1. The Merit
Calculation The final selection is scored
out of a total of 100 marks. The distribution of these marks varies slightly
depending on the specific teaching role you are applying for:
For Principals
& PGTs (Post Graduate Teachers): Post-Graduation (PG): 30 marks Bachelor's Degree: 20 marks B.Ed / M.A. Education: 20 marks SSC (10th) & Intermediate
(12th): 20 marks combined (10 for SSC, 10 for Intermediate) Service Weightage:10 marks
For CRTs (Contract
Residential Teachers): Bachelor's Degree: 40 marks B.Ed: 30 marks SSC (10th) & Intermediate
(12th): 20 marks combined (10 marks for SSC, 10 for Intermediate) Service Weightage: 10 marks For PETs (Physical
