BSNL Junior Telecom Officer (JTO) Selection Process

The BSNL Junior Telecom Officer (JTO) selection process is a merit-based evaluation consisting of three main stages: a Computer-Based Test (CBT), Document Verification (DV), and a Medical Examination. There are no interviews required.

Stage 1: Computer-Based Test (CBT)

Candidates must take a 3-hour objective multiple-choice (MCQ) exam worth a total of 480 marks.
The exam is divided into three sections:
Section I & II (Engineering Stream): 50 questions each. Tests your core engineering knowledge.
Section III (General Ability Test): 20 questions. Tests your general knowledge and reasoning skills.

Scoring:
Correct answer = +4 marks.
Incorrect answer = -1 mark

Stage 2: Document Verification (DV)
Candidates who pass the CBT are called to verify their educational and official documents. You will need to show proof of your age, educational qualifications (like a B.E./B.Tech or M.Sc in relevant fields), and caste/category certificates.

Stage 3: Medical Examination
Candidates must pass the medical fitness tests set by BSNL. Once you clear this stage, you will receive a formal job offer.
