Selection Process | Supreme Court of India (SCI) Junior Court Assistant (JCA) Selection Process: The selection process for the Supreme Court of India Junior Court Assistant (JCA) 2026 recruitment consists of four sequential stages: 1. Objective Type Test – A 90-minute multiple-choice question exam carrying 100 marks (with a negative marking of 0.25 per wrong answer) covering General English, General Aptitude, General Knowledge, Constitution of India provisions, Supreme Court Rules/Regulations, and Computer Knowledge. The tentative exam date is 2. Typing Speed Test on Computer – An English typing test requiring a minimum speed of 35 words per minute with up to 3% permissible mistakes, conducted for 100 marks over 10 minutes. 3. Written Test (Descriptive) – A descriptive English test (comprehension, précis, and essay writing) evaluated only for candidates who clear the computer typing test. 4. Interview – A final interview round carrying 25 marks for candidates who qualify through the preceding stages. | |
