The Telangana Open School
Society (TOSS), Hyderabad has released the Admission
Schedule for SSC (Secondary School
Certificate) and Intermediate courses offered through
the Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode for the academic
year 2026-27.
TOSS ELIGIBILITY FOR
SSC (10th Class) & INTERMEDIATE:
For SSC (10th
Class):
1. Must be 14 years or above as
of 31st August 2026
2. No formal schooling required
3. Upper Age Limit: There is no
maximum age limit. Adults, dropouts, and working professionals can apply.
For Open Intermediate (12th
Class):
1. Must have passed SSC/10th
from any recognized board
2. Upper Age Limit: There is no
maximum age limit. Adults, dropouts, and working professionals can apply.

For SSC (10th Class)
1. Birth Certificate (Xerox
Copy)
2. Aadhaar
Card (Xerox Copy)
3. Passport Size Photos: 5 No.s
For Intermediate:
1. SSC (10th Class) Pass
Certificate (Xerox Copy)
2. Aadhaar
Card (Xerox Copy)
3. Passport Size Photos: 5 No.s
The medium of Instructions
TOSS SSC & Intermediate: - Telugu,
English, Hindi, Urdu
TOSS Intermediate
Groups: MPC, Bi.P.C, CEC, HEC, MEC
Choice of Subjects: You can
choose any subject combination from the Group lists of subjects offered as per
the criteria given in the Scheme of Studies
TOSS SSC & INTERMEDIATE PASSING CRITERIA:
Students need a minimum of 35% marks in each subject
(theory or practical) to pass the Telangana Open School Society (TOSS) SSC and
Intermediate exams.
General Passing Criteria
Maximum Marks: 100 marks per subject.
Minimum Pass Marks: 35 marks out of 100 in each individual
subject.
TOSS SUBJECT SELECTION & PASSING CRITERIA
FOR SSC:
You need to pass a minimum of 5 subjects to get a pass
certificate in the Telangana Open School Society (TOSS) SSC (10th class)
course.
Subject Selection Rules
Languages (Group A): You must choose 1 or a maximum of 2
language papers.
Academic Subjects (Group B): You must select the remaining
subjects from Group B (and up to 2 languages maximum from Group A) to complete
your total of 5 subjects. Alternatively, you can choose 1 vocational subject
from Group C.
Maximum Subjects: You can take a maximum of 6 subjects (5
compulsory + 1 additional subject if you want).
Passing Marks
You must score at least 35% marks in each individual
subject (theory and practicals combined, where applicable) to be declared pass

FOR INTERMEDIATE:
You must clear a minimum of 5 subjects to pass the
Telangana Open School Society (TOSS) Intermediate course.
Subject Requirements
Languages (Group A): 1 or a maximum of 2 languages.
Academic Subjects (Group B): Minimum of 2 subjects.
Vocational Subjects (Group C): Optional; you can choose one
vocational subject if you wish.
Total Combination: Your selections from the groups must add
up to at least 5 subjects. You are also allowed to pick 1 extra subject as an
additional option.

The Telangana Open School Society provides
