KGBVs and Warden, Part-time teacher,
Chowkidar, Head Cook, Asst. Cook
in type -IV KGBVs from the eligible woman
candidates for filling up of
non-teaching posts in 352 type-III KGBVs and 210
type-IV KGBVs located across the
State.
The District Collectors shall be
given the choice of selecting suitable candidates
through “Walk-in -Interviews”
for Non-teaching staff vide in Government
Memo.No.3048107/Prog.II/A2/2025,

AP KGBV Recruitment 2026 Selection Process Selection
Authority A District Level Selection Committee under the chairmanship of the
District Collector will conduct the recruitment process.
Committee Members: 1 District Collector - Chairman 2. District Educational Officer (DEO) – Member 3. Additional Project Coordinators - Member Convener 4. Deputy Educational Officer (Head Quarters) – Member 5. Girl Child Development Officer/Assistant Girl Child
Development Officer - Member
Selection Methodology: 1. Walk-in Interviews: Candidates will be called for
walk-in interviews at the district level 2. Merit-based Selection: Final selection list will be
prepared in 1:1 ratio based on merit after conducting interviews 3. Local Preference: First priority will be given to
candidates living in the Mandal where the KGBVs are located 4. Mandal as Selection Unit: Mandal is the selection unit
for filling all non-teaching posts
Selection Criteria Priority: 1. Candidates
residing in the same Mandal where KGBV is located get first preference 2. Merit and performance in the interview 3. Compliance with reservation norms
Document Verification: 1. Date of birth verification for specific posts
(Head/Assistant Cooks, Scavengers, Day & Night Watchmen, Attender,
Chowkidar & Sweeper) as per Aadhar 2. Educational qualification verification 3. Local status verification through Aadhar card and
residence certificate |
