APSWREIS: Dr. BR Ambedkar Gurukulam BRAG SET 2025 - Admission to Class 5 and Intermediate First Year English Medium

The notification 'BRAG SET-2025' has been released for admissions to Class 5 and First Year of Intermediate (English Medium) for the academic year 2025- 2026 in Dr. BR Ambedkar Gurukul Vidyalayas and Dr. BR Ambedkar IIT Medical Academies under the jurisdiction of Andhra Pradesh Social Welfare Gurukul Vidyalayas (APSWREIS) in Tadepalli. Eligible boys and girls should apply online by March 6th.

Selection of students will be done through an entrance exam.

Selected students will be provided free education, accommodation and training for sports/various competitive exams.

 

Exam Details:

BRAG Entrance Test- 2025 for admissions to Dr. BR Ambedkar Gurukulam Class 5th and Intermediate.

 

Eligibility: For Class 5th, candidates should have completed Class 3 in the academic year 2023-24 and Class 4 in the academic year 2024-25 in a government/government recognized school in the district. 

* For Junior Intermediate admissions, candidates should have completed Class 10th in the academic year 2024-25 in a government/ government recognized school in the respective districts.

* For admissions to IIT NEET coaching centres, students who have secured a rank in the BRAG SET (Junior Inter) exam merit list will be shortlisted in the ratio of 1:3 for IIT Medical Academies.

 

Age: For Class 5 admissions, the age of the student should be between 01.09.2012 to 31.08.2016 for SC/ST students and between 01.09.2014 to 31.08.2016 for OC/BC/BC-C students. For Intermediate admissions, the students should not be more than 17 years of age as on 31.08.2025.

 

Income limit: The annual income of the student's parents should not exceed Rs.1,00,000.

 

Reservation details: 75% seats are allotted to SCs, 12% to BCs, 6% to STs, 5% to BCs, and 2% to others.

 

Selection process: Seats will be allotted based on the marks obtained in the entrance examination and the rule of reservation.

 

* Question paper: The question paper for class 5 entrance exams will have 50 questions in objective mode. Each question will carry one mark. Mathematics15, English- 10, Telugu- 10, EVS- 15 questions will be asked. The duration of the exam is two hours. The question paper will be in English and Telugu medium. * Intermediate question paper will have 100 questions in objective mode. Each question will carry one mark. Mathematics- 15, Physical Science- 15, Biology/Natural Science- 15, Social Studies- 10, English- 15, Logical Reasoning and Aptitude- 30 questions will be asked. The duration of the exam is two and a half hours. The question paper will be in English and Telugu medium.
