About The Program: | The State Bank of India (SBI) Foundation Asha Scholarship Program 2024, one of India's largest scholarship programs, is an initiative of the SBI Foundation under its education vertical - Integrated Learning Mission (ILM).
This program aims to provide financial assistance to meritorious students from low-income families across India, ensuring the continuity of their education.
This scholarship is open to students from Class 6 to 12 and for those who are pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate courses from the top 100 NIRF universities/colleges and IITs or MBA/PGDM courses from IIMs.

Scholarships Amount per year: | Rs 15,000/- per annum |
Eligibility: | 1. Open for Indian nationals only.
2. Applicants must be studying in Class 6 to 12 in the current academic year.
3. Students must have secured 75% marks or above in their previous academic year.
4. The gross annual family income of the applicants must be up to INR 3,00,000
Note: 50% of the slots will be reserved for female applicants.
Preference will be given to students belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) categories. |
Documents Required: | 1. Marksheet from the previous academic year (Class 12/ Graduation/ Postgraduation, as applicable) 2. Government-issued identity proof (Aadhaar card) 3. Current year Fee receipt 4. Proof of current year admission (Admission letter/institution identity card/bonafide certificate) 5. Bank account details of the applicant (or parent) 6. Proof of income (Form 16A/income certificate from a government authority/salary slips, etc.) 7. Photograph of the applicant. 8. Caste certificate (wherever applicable) |
