About India Post Payments Bank Limited (IPPB): India Post Payments Bank Limited (IPPB) has been setup under the Department of Posts, Ministry of Communications with 100% equity owned by Government of India. IPPB is leading the next revolution of Banking and Financial literacy and this new model is paving the way for India's largest Banking network to reach each and every corner of the nation. IPPB is having 650 Banking outlets all over the India which aims to utilize and leverage the field network of Department of Posts through its approximate 1,65,000 post offices as access points and approximate 3 Lakh postmen and Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) to provide doorstep banking services. IPPB requires 199 Junior Associate and 110 Assistant Manager (Scale-I) on deputation/Foreign Service from Central Government/State Government/ PSEs/CPSEs /Autonomous Bodies to perform direct sales and related activities at branches/banking Outlet of the Bank as per the requirements of the Bank.

IPPB Junior Associate, Assistant Manager Selection
Process: a) Merit list will be drawn banking outlet wise. Selection will be made on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in the graduation. However, the Bank reserves the right to conduct Assessment/Online Test/Group Discussion/Interview. b) In case of equal graduation percentage obtained by two candidates in the merit list the candidate will be selected basis the earlier date of birth.
c) Candidate shall fill exact percentage of marks obtained in the Graduation up to two places of decimal. The percentage marks shall be arrived at by dividing the marks obtained by the candidate in all the subjects in all semester(s)/year(s) by aggregate maximum marks in all the subjects irrespective of honors / optional / additional optional subject, if any. This will be applicable for those Universities also where Class / Grade is decided on basis of Honors marks only. Rounding of percentage will not be acceptable under any circumstances. d) Wherever percentage (%) of marks is not awarded by the Board/ University/ Institute and only grades (e.g. GPA /CGPA/CQPI) are awarded, the same should be converted to the exact equivalent percentage (%) of marks as per the formula provided by the college/university. If any deviation is found in the application form with respect to the percentage of marks, such applications will be summarily rejected. e) It is mandatory to upload the “No objection Certificate” (NOC) from your parent organization at the time of applying. The NOC should clearly contain- i. Statement giving details of Major/Minor penalties, imposed upon the Employee, if any during the last five (5) years. ii. Vigilance Clearance Certificate from the Competent authority. iii. Relieving condition “the in case of selection the employee shall be relieved within 30 days. f) In case of NOC where the conditions as stipulated in point (e) if found absent the application will be rejected at the Merit preparation stage without intimation. g) The deputation with IPPB shall commence only after completion of mandatory formalities pertaining to their relieving process as stipulated by their parent organization. h) Merely satisfying the eligibility norms do not entitle a candidate to be in the select list. i) Results of the
candidates who have qualified for various stages of the recruitment process
and the list of candidates finally selected will be published on the website. |
