The Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University has been renamed after eminent freedom fighter and littérateur Suravaram Pratapa Reddy.

 

Suravaram Pratap Reddy Telugu University (SPTU) in Bachupalli, Malkajgiri district, Telangana has released a notification for admissions to Degree, MA Degree, UG, PG, PG Diploma, Diploma, Certificate regular courses for the academic year 2025- 26. Admissions of students will be based on the entrance examination.

 

Through the admission notification, admissions can be obtained in MA degree, post-graduation, undergraduate, PG diploma, diploma and certificate courses in regular courses like sculpture, painting, designs, music, theatre, dance, folklore, Telugu, history, tourism, linguistics, journalism, astrology, yoga etc. in Telugu University. Interested candidates should apply online through the university website till June 30th.

 

Suravaram Pratap Reddy Telugu University (SPTU) Program Details:

1. Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) (four years), BDesign (four years)

2. Masters of Fine Arts (MFA) (two years)

3. MA Journalism and Mass Communication (two years),

4. MA/MPA (two years)

5. MA (Telugu, History, Culture, Tourism) (two years),

6. Bachelor of Design (Four years)

7. PG Diploma in Yoga

8. PG Diploma in Film Direction (One year course)

9. Design Certificates Courses

10. Diploma in indrajalam

11. Diploma in Mimicry

 

Eligibility: Candidates should have passed SSC, Inter, Degree as per the course.

Admission Process:

Admission to regular programs will be based on entrance examination.

Examination centres: Hyderabad, Warangal.

Last date for submission of online application: 24.06.2025.

Last date for application with late fee: 30.06.2025.
