The SSC CGL selection
process consists of two tiers of computer-based exams and document
verification. Tier 1 is a qualifying exam, and candidates who pass it
proceed to Tier 2. Tier 2 consists of three papers, with Paper 1 being
mandatory for all. Document verification is the final stage, where the
shortlisted candidates' documents are verified. Detailed Selection
Process: 1. Online Application: Candidates need to fill out an
online application form with their personal details and educational
qualifications. 2. Tier 1 Exam: This is a computer-based
objective-type test that assesses General Intelligence, General Awareness,
Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension. 3. Tier 2 Exam: This exam is also
computer-based and comprises three papers: Paper 1 (compulsory for all),
Paper 2 (for JSO), and Paper 3. 4. Document Verification: Candidates who clear both Tier 1 and Tier 2 exams proceed to the final stage of document verification. 5. Final Merit List: The final merit list is
prepared based on the performance in Tier 1 and Tier 2, determining the
selection of candidates for various posts. |
