The Program: |
The HOPE
Engineering Scholarship by Schaeffler India 2025 program extends
financial assistance to female engineering students from economically
disadvantaged backgrounds, facilitating their pursuit of education. This
program offers financial support to female students nationwide who are
enrolled in their first year of engineering studies, with preference given to
students with disabilities (PwD) who belong to economically weaker sections
of society and need financial assistance to pursue their education. They can
receive financial aid worth INR 50,000 to support their academic
endeavours and nurture their potential as future leaders in engineering. About Schaeffler

Eligibility: |
1. Open to female students across India enrolled in the first year of an
engineering program at any state or UGC-recognised college. 2. Preference will be given to students with disabilities. 3. Applicants must have secured at least 60% marks in Class 12 (Science
stream) in the academic year 2024–25. For PWD applicants, the minimum
required marks are 40% in Class 12 (Science stream). 4. Preference will be given to students pursuing the following
engineering branches: Computer Science and Engineering Information Technology Electrical and Electronics Electronics and Communication Mechanical Production Instrumentation Mechatronics Automobile 5. The annual family income of the applicant should not exceed INR
5,00,000. |

Selection
Criteria: |
The selection for this scholarship is done through a multi-stage
process detailed below: 1. Initial shortlisting of applicants based on completed applications 2. Document verification for shortlisted students 3. Telephonic interview (10-15 minutes) for final selection Schaeffler India may add or remove any steps mentioned above to
optimize the selection process. |
