About The Program:

Reliance has been providing scholarships to meritorious students for over 25 years, inspired by Reliance Founder-Chairman Shri Dhirubhai Ambani’s belief that the best way to ensure the nation’s progress is to invest in its youth. Over the years, Reliance Foundation scholarship programmes have impacted the lives of 23,000 youth across India.

Since 2022-2023, Reliance Foundation has been supporting 5,100 students annually, including 5,000 meritorious undergraduate students from underprivileged sections of society studying any stream of their choice through the Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships, and 100 of India's brightest postgraduate students studying eligible subjects in select future ready courses from Engineering, Technology, Energy & Life Sciences through the Reliance Foundation Postgraduate Scholarships

 

Eligibility:

An applicant must:

1. Be a resident Indian citizen.

2. Have passed Class 12 with minimum 60% marks and is attending a regular full-time undergraduate degree programme in India.

3. Have household income less than INR 15 lakhs per year (preference given to income less than INR 2.5 lakhs).

4. Answer the mandatory Aptitude Test 

 

The following students are not eligible:

1. Students who are in the 2nd year or higher (have started their courses from academic year 2023-24 or before)

2. Students pursuing their degree through online, hybrid, remote, distance or any other non-regular modes

3. Students who have passed their diploma after Class 10.

4. Students pursuing a 2nd year undergraduate degree.

5. Students who do not complete the mandatory aptitude test or are found cheating during the test.

 

Benefits:

Up to INR 2,00,000 over the duration of the degree programme.

Documents Required:

The applicants are required to attach the following documents at the time of application:

1. Applicant’s photograph (passport size)

2. Address proof (permanent address)

3. Marksheets of Class 10 and 12 board examinations

4. Bonafide Student Certificate of current college/institution of enrolment

5. Family income proof issued by Gram Panchayat/Ward Counsellor/Sarpanch/Income Proof issued by SDM/DM/CO/Tehsildar

6. Official Disability Certificate issued by relevant Government authority (if applicable)
