About The Program: |
NMMS is a national means-cum-merit scholarship offered by the government of India to provide financial assistance to deserving students from Class IX to XII. This merit scholarship scheme aims to promote literacy and reduce the dropout rate at the secondary stage across India, especially among SC/ST and other economically disadvantaged groups. To qualify for NMMS, students need to
clear a written examination consisting of MAT and SAT tests on topics such as
Mathematics, Science, Social Science, and General Knowledge. |

Rs 12,000/- Scholarship is continued for

Eligibility: |
i) Applicants must be
Studying in class 8 as regular students in Government Schools, Local Body, Government-aided
school, Model Schools which have no residential facility ii) Applicant must be
a domicile of Telangana State iii) Candidates whose
combined annual parental income is below Rs 3,50,000 from all sources are
required provide the most recent original annual income certificate issued by
the Tahsildar |

Exam Pattern: |
Total Marks: 180 Mental Ability Test
(M.A.T) – 90 marks multiple choice questions. Scholastic Ability
Test (S.A.T) – 90 marks covering sciences, mathematics and social sciences of
class VII & VIII. Each question carries one mark. Exam Time duration: 3
Hours |
