GATE 2025 Important Dates:
The GATE 2025 exam will be held on 1, 2, 15 and 16 February 2025. The GATE 2025 officials website gate2025.iitr.ac.in was launched on 29 June 2024. The GATE 2025 online applications will be accepted from 24 August to 26 September 2024 without late fees. The last date to apply for GATE 2025 with a late fee is 7 October 2024.
GATE 2025 Application Fees:
The Application Fee for the GATE 2025 is Rs. 900/- for the SC, ST, PWD, and Female Candidates. The application fee for the rest of the categories (Gen, EWS, OBC) is Rs. 1800/-. The candidates can pay the GATE 2025 Application fee in online mode.
The application fee in the extended period i.e. from 27 September to 7 October 2024 is Rs. 1400/- for SC, ST, PWD, and Females. The application Fee for General, EWS, and OBC candidates in the extended period is Rs. 2300/-.
GATE 2025 Qualification:
Candidates who are currently studying in the 3rd or higher years of any undergraduate degree program or who have completed any government approved degree program in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Science/ Commerce/ Arts/ Humanities are eligible to appear for GATE 2025

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a prestigious national-level examination that assesses candidates for a comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate-level subjects in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Science/ Commerce/ Arts/ Humanities for admission to various Master’s and Doctoral Programs and Recruitment by some Public Sector Undertakings.
1. Admission
Valid GATE score can be used for seeking admission to:
· Master’s programs and direct Doctoral programs in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Science/ Commerce/ Arts/ Humanities; and
· Doctoral programs in relevant branches of Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Science/ Commerce/ Arts/ Humanities, in the institutions supported by the MoE and other Government agencies.
2. Financial Assistance
Qualifying GATE score can be used for seeking financial assistance towards:
· Master’s programs and direct Doctoral programs in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Science/ Commerce/ Arts/ Humanities; and
· Doctoral programs in relevant branches of Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Science/ Commerce/ Arts/ Humanities, in the institutions supported by the MoE and other Government agencies.
Financial Assistance given to M.Tech students is Rs. 12,400 per month and is generally paid for 22 months. PG Scholarship (GATE/GPAT)
Financial Assistance given for Ph.D. programs (Direct Ph.D. after B.E./ B.Tech/ M.Sc equivalent with a valid GATE score) is Rs. 37,000 per month for the first two years and Rs. 42,000 per month from the third to the fifth year.
3. Recruitment

· Duly Fill up the Application Form
· Upload the required documents, Photograph, Signature, etc.
· Submit the GATE 2025 Application Form and take a printout of it.
