Eligibility Criteria:	7th class
Entry Age:	Candidates appearing for the above test should not be less than 11½ years in age and should not have attained the age of 13 Years as on 01st January 2025, i.e., they should have been born, not earlier than 2nd January 2012 and not later than 1st July 2013.
Examination Centers:	The Examination for the children of Telangana State will be conducted at Hyderabad only.
Fee:	The annual fee is at Rs.77,500/- for General candidates and Rs.63,900/- for SC / ST candidates per year. Fee structure may be revised periodically. At the time of entry, a Security Deposit of Rs.30,000/- in addition to the annual fee has to be paid. This is refunded when the cadets graduate from the College.
Scheme of Examination:	The examination comprises of the following: (a) Written Examination: The examination in Mathematics (09:30-11:00 hours), General Knowledge (12:00-13:00hrs) and English (14:30-16:30hrs) shall be conducted on 1st June 2024 (Saturday). (b) Viva Voce: The date will be intimated later and will be held for only those candidates who qualify in the written exam. Intelligence, personality and communication skills of the candidates will be tested in the viva-voce. (c) Medical Examination. All the candidates qualified after viva-voce will undergo a medical examination at selected Military Hospitals and only those candidates found medically fit will be considered for selection and admission to the RIMC. The medical examination of the candidates, forms only a part of the selection process and does not imply the final selection. (d) The wards of Central Government employees can undertake their exam and viva-voce at the place of posting of employee/ domicile state. However, their candidature will be considered from their original domicile state. It is, therefore, mandatory to submit the application in the same state where the examination has to be taken. (e) The viva-voce will be held for only those candidates who pass the written exam. The list will be sent to the respective State Governments by RIMC. (f) Results will be updated on RIMC website www.rimc.gov.in. It is the candidate’s responsibility to check the status regularly.
Procedure to obtain Application forms:	The Prospectus-cum-Application Form and Booklet of Old Question Papers can be obtained DIRECTLY from “The Rastriya Indian Military College, Garhi Cantt, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, PIN – 248003” by following methods: (a) ONLINE PAYMENT: By making online payment of Rs.600/- for General Candidates & Rs.555/- for SC/ST candidates on RIMC Website www.rimc.gov.in (on receipt of the payment, the Prospectus-cum-Application Form and Booklet of Old Question Papers will be dispatched by Speed post only). OR (b) BY DEMAND DRAFT: The Prospectus-cum-Application Form and Booklet of Old Question Papers can be obtained by sending a written request with a demand draft of Rs.600/- for General Candidates & Rs.555/- for SC/ST candidates along with Caste Certificate in favor of ‘’THE COMMANDANT RIMC FUND”, DRAWEE BRANCH, HDFC BANK, BALLUPUR CHOWK, DEHRADUN, (BANK CODE- 1399), UTTARAKHAND. The address should be TYPED / WRITTEN CLEARLY IN CAPITAL LETTERS with PIN Code and Contact Number. RIMC will NOT be responsible for any postal delay or loss in transit of prospectus caused by illegible or incomplete address. The delay on part of postal department is not the responsibility of RIMC
Application Form Submit Address:	Application forms should reach the TSPSC by 15th April 2024. The application forms must be sent to the T.S.P.S.C only but not to the Rashtriya Indian Military College, Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
